Club Announcement Due Today

Club Announcement Due Today

Wednesday are expected to make a statement 'before the end of play today' about their on-going negotiations about a takeover, according to reports.

The club have yet to make any announcements today, with Owls fans following local and national news organisations to see if the future of the club has been saved.

The Owls have a High Court date tomorrow for an unpaid tax bill and could be forced into administration if a buyer doesn't come in to save the Hillsborough club.

And the Yorkshire Post is reporting that the club is expected to make an announcement 'before the end of play' today regarding their negotiations.

Hillsborough staff are thought to be having a meeting within the next hour and a statement is likely to be released immediately after.

Whether the statement is a notice of the club entering administration, or whether the statement is announcing a new owner of the club is unknown.

17.22, it's now 20.37 and I have seen nothing nor heard anything, nothing on website either, disgusted if this is the case and nothing has been released not even a 'nothing to report and cannot say anything yet' would have been better than nothing....i'm ranting again
