Mandaric: Offer Still On Table

Milan Mandaric has revealed his offer to buy Wednesday is still on the table, but he believes the deal is at an end after seeing his initial bid rejected.

The Leicester City chairman made an offer to the club last week but saw his offer to former Owls chairman Dave Allen rejected, after Allen called it 'derisory'.

And the Serbian-American businessman has broken his silence on the matter, telling TEAMtalk: 'My offer is still there, but the loan-holders did not want to go for it and it's the end of the deal I think.

'What can I do? It's not my decision, it's the decision of those people still involved in the club.

'I don't know if I should wait around any more. I just hope they have a plan B and that they don't go into administration.'

The former Portsmouth chairman is one of a number of parties to have entered discussions with Wednesday over a potential takeover deal.

The Owls need to strike a deal before tomorrow's High Court date or risk being forced into administration.

Mandaric is the only guy who can save us. I heard Wilko was worried about him sacking managers... Hello look at his success. He could probably get us for 8 mil with the bank ready to write off the debt in large and he would make a tidy profit i years to come. He has experience and cares. Hate some of these morons involved with Wednesday.
