Owls Vs Leeds Moved For Sky

The Owls bank holiday weekend match with Yorkshire rivals Leeds United has been moved to Sunday 27th August at 1.15pm for live Sky TV coverage.

The match was previously pencilled in for Saturday 26th August and a 3pm kick-off, buy the Sky TV camera's will now be at Hillsborough for one of the biggest games in the Football League calendar.

Last season's fixture saw the Owls run out 1-0 winners thanks to an early Chris Eagles goal in front of nearly 30,000 fans at Hillsborough.

Local derby's are always big crowd pullers, lets hope it being on tv does not change the atmosphere this early in the season.

It's at Hillsborough, it'll be rammed and the roof will be coming off. If it was at Elland Road, you might be right ;-)
