Owls To Face Robins In FA Cup

Wednesday have been handed an away tie at npower Championship side Bristol City in the 3rd round of the FA Cup.

The draw took place today and gave the Owls a tough trip to Ashton Gate on the weekend of Saturday, January 8 - Monday, January 9 2011.

City endured a tough start to their Championship campaign but have picked up in recent weeks, enjoying victory over Sheffield United in the league yesterday, and will provide a tough test for Alan Irvine's men to progress to the next round.

The Owls ensured their place in the draw thanks to a 3-2 victory over League Two side Northampton Town at Hillsborough yesterday.

Some other key fixtures from the draw include Liverpool travelling to old foes Manchester United, Leicester City hosting Manchester City and Bolton Wanderers hosting non-league York City.

this has awkward written all over it in my opinion. it'll require some graft to get through but we've got the form and quality to do it.

Didn't Utd lose 3-0 there Saturday, I'd like to think we could do better than that shower of s***.

I meant to add I doubt the TV companies will be falling over themselves to show it. Man U v Liverpool is bound to be on as I suspect will be Leicester v Man City.
