Owls FA Cup Clash Rests On Rovers

The date for Wednesday's FA Cup 3rd round clash at Bristol City has been set as Sunday, January 9 (kick-off 3pm), unless Bristol Rovers' league game is postponed.

The date rests on Rovers' scheduled npower League One match against Hartlepool United going ahead on Saturday, January 8 - both Bristol teams are unable to play home matches on the same day.

But that game could be postponed if Hartlepool progress to the third round of the prestigious cup competition with victory over Yeovil Town in the second round next week.

It would mean the Owls cup clash with City will move to the Saturday if Rovers aren't in action.

If a replay is required, the sides will meet at Hillsborough on Tuesday, January 18.
