Foxes' Morrison Having Owls Medical

Foxes' Morrison Having Owls Medical

Leicester City defender Michael Morrison is all set for a move to Wednesday with reports indicating he's having a medical in S6 today.

The former Cambridge United man is understood to be at Hillsborough today and is ready to complete a move from the Walkers Stadium, according to BBC Radio Leicester's Ian Stringer.

Morrison has been keen for a move away from Leicester ever since Foxes boss Sven-Goran Eriksson failed to guarantee him a starting role with the npower Championship side.

The fee is understood to be around the £250,000 mark but the deal is expected to be undisclosed.

The deal is expected to go through within the next 24 hours and Morrison will follow Reda Johnson as the second defender to arrive at Wednesday since the January transfer window opened.

Looks like we're getting a whole new defence! Good signing by all accounts though so fingers crossed it'll go through with no problems

So what's the defense going to be now then...? Morrison Johnson Purse Buxton would be my choice but we have more options so im sure opinion will be divided.

Im actually quite excited with us buying two young prospects, despite the fact iv never seen either play. If the fee's reported are to be believed all we have done is re-invest the tudgay fee. Agree with Aston-owl, another midfielder and striker please.
