Owls Host Wycombe Or Hereford In Cup

Wednesday will host either Wycombe Wanderers or Hereford in the FA Cup fourth round.

The draw gave the Owls a favourable tie in the next round of the prestigious competition and Alan Irvine and his men will fancy their chances of progression against lower league opposition.

Wycombe have still to play Hereford in their third round clash, which will take place on Tuesday night.

Wednesday progressed to the fourth round for the first time in a decade yesterday as they saw off Bristol City with an impressive 3-0 victory at Ashton Gate.

The draw took place at Wembley Stadium following today's third round clash between Manchester United and Liverpool, which saw United progress with a 1-0 victory at Old Trafford.

The fourth round will take place over the weekend of Saturday, January 29 and Sunday, January 30.
