Owls Linked With Murray Move

Brighton & Hove Albion striker Glenn Murray is a target of Wednesday in the January transfer window, according to reports today.

Murray is out of contract in the summer and the Owls are thought to be one of a number of clubs keen on his services, according to Sky Sports.

The in-form 27-year-old, who has helped Albion to the top of the League One table, is also reported to be a target of Championship sides Sheffield United and Scunthorpe United.

Wednesday chairman Milan Mandaric has already revealed that Alan Irvine is hoping to bring in six new signings this month - with two already done and dusted.

A striker could be on Irvine's list and Murray, who has scored eleven goals for Brighton this season, is thought to be on his wanted list.

Murray has said he would like to pen a new deal with the Seagulls, but a new contract has yet to be sorted out, alerting the trio of clubs to his signature.

Lua Lua is out with broken ankle, would like to see us go for Will Hoskins, scoring goals in a poor side and at right age.
