Diallo Set For Dons Move

Out-of-favour Owls, and former Ipswich Town defender Drissa Diallo is set to complete a free transfer move to League Two side MK Dons.

Diallo was told he could leave the club by boss Paul Sturrock towards the end of last season after making just 12 appearances for the club since his arrival from Portman Road last summer.

The former Burnley defender follows Patrick Collins out of Hillsborough as Owls boss Paul Sturrock continues to build his squad ahead of the new season.

The summer arrival of Madjid Bougherra and the fine form of player of the season Graham Coughlan and youngster Richard Wood meant Diallo was surplus to requirements at S6.

The squad looking nice and tidy now, if we can just get rid of that other donkey, graham, get the keeper sorted and maybe bring in a decent prem player (poss striker) on loan, I can see further improvement this year
