Owls Fans Sell Out Birmingham Tickets

Wednesday have sold out their full allocation of 4,200 tickets for the FA Cup fifth round clash at Birmingham City, with the Owls unlikely to receive any further allocations.

Owls fans snapped up the final batch of tickets this afternoon for the match, which will take place next Saturday at St Andrews.

Away teams are allowed 15 per cent of tickets for FA Cup matches, with the Barclays Premier League club handing that amount over to Wednesday for the clash.

But, despite Wednesday likely to be able to sell plenty more tickets for the game, the Blues are not sending any more tickets to the Hillsborough ticket office as things stand.

That's despite getting just 16,669 for their fourth round game against Coventry City, of which 5,604 were Sky Blues supporters.

The Blues are clearly anticipating a bigger home support for the fifth round clash with the Owls.
