Argyle Set For Ten Point Deduction

Wednesday's npower League One rivals Plymouth Argyle are set to be docked ten points as they look set to go into administration.

The Pilgrims have issued a 'Notice of Intention' to appoint an administrator after suffering three winding-up orders by HMRC so far this season.

The deduction will leave Argyle bottom of League One and looking set for relegation to League Two.

It could have so easily have been Wednesday in the same position had Milan Mandaric not saved the club before Christmas.

Plymouth have endured a tough season and find themselves just two points above the relegation zone ahead of the points deduction.

They'll find themselves eight points adrift of safety with a ten-point deduction and with a huge mountain to climb if they're to avoid the drop this term.

The Owls are set to host Argyle at Hillsborough on Saturday, March 6.

as bad as it is at S6 on the pitch things could have been so much worse - imagine if we had 10points of our already pretty meagre total. still we did the most charitable thing and bought reda?!

thank god we got milan when we did and didn't get a 10-point deduction. hope they get an investor too, it wasnt nice when we were in a financial mess!
