Watching Football Is Not A Crime!

FSF EVENT: Watching Football Is Not A Crime!

Hillsborough, Sheffield. Thursday, 3rd March 2011.
Kick-off 7pm (for 7.30pm start). Free entry.
Email your name & club to: register@fsf.org.uk
Event open to fans of all clubs

Watching Football Is Not A Crime! is a free Football Supporters' Federation event, hosted by The Guardian's award-winning writer David Conn. The event gives football fans their chance to put questions to a panel of experts including leading journalists, police and Home Office figures.

Sick of unnecessary police-enforced early KOs?
Fed up of being told to sit down and shut up?
Want your voice to be heard?
Alongside David Conn we are pleased to welcome a great panel featuring: Rachel Barber (UK Football Policing Unit), Francis Beckett (author, broadcaster, journalist), David Bohannan (Home Office Football Unit), and Dr Mark James (researcher in sports law at Salford Law School). The event is free but registration is required, email your name to register@fsf.org.uk along with any questions you`d like to ask. All registered fans receive a free drink on arrival and non-FSF members are welcome.

well this season so far: forgetting to play the second half at leyton orient was probably the worst, though i've had worse: 6-0 away at reading on a week night the other year, that must've been some sort of divine punishment for not working hard enough or summat. and i can remember breaking down in tears in east midlands airport in 93 - had holiday booked, the day of the final replay - first time i'd ever been abroad and i were more miserable than morrissey! i know we get the rewards now and again(not many recently!) but we get an awful lot of slaps in the face(please not one from plymouth on saturday!)...
