Pilgrims Enter Administration

Wednesday's npower League One opponents tomorrow, Plymouth Argyle, have been placed into administration today.

The Pilgrims made public their notice to appoint an administrator last week and were hit with a ten-point penalty.

And Brendan Guilfoyle, of the P&A Partnership, has today been appointed to find the club new owners.

Argyle travel to Hillsborough tomorrow in League One looking to continue their 'great escape' from the relegation zone - they beat Colchester United last time out to give them some light at the end of the tunnel.

It's yet to be seen how today's news will impact on the Home Park club and their performances on the pitch, tomorrow's clash in S6 at 3pm will show how much of a battling spirit Peter Reid's men have.

How very very said to see this. This could have been us, I can't imagine how the supporters must be feeling. I'm sure they'll survive, teams do tend to come back stronger after administration. Wonder what Paul Sturrock's thinking, he was Plymouth thu & thru. Good luck to Plymouth.
