Owls Season Ticket Sales Please Milan

Season ticket sales of 'around 9,000' so far for Wednesday next season have been encouraging for Owls chairman Milan Mandaric.

Mandaric revealed the figures today and the sales come after an extremely below-par season at Hillsborough in which the Owls are set to finish closer to the League One relegation zone than the play-offs.

The deadline for discounted tickets has passed but sales will gradually increase over the close season, and the Owls are heading for a respectable figure for the start of the next campaign.

'We have sold around 9,000,' Mandaric told the Sheffield Star.

'I am very pleased to have that many signed up for next year. It is encouraging for the club and for myself. Now we have to do our jobs and give them something to cheer about.'

Probably have to higher the free season tickets from under 13s to under 18s to get anywhere near us, that why they've looked to have had bigger crowds than us over the past few years, if it was done on revenue taken each year, we'd win hands down ever season. Just look at the mess that the pigs are in trying to live with the big boys. I think administration is the next thing for them, and serves them right.
ecco owl
i second that.
