Owls boss nominated for manager gong

Wednesday boss Gary Megson has been nominated for the npower League One Manager of the Month award for April.

Megson enjoyed his best spell since his arrival at Hillsborough during April, guiding his side to four victories, two draws and one defeat, the latter coming away at champions Brighton & Hove Albion.

It meant the Owls avoided any end-of-season relegation battle and will now end up in a safe, mid-table position come the end of the campaign.

He'll face competition from Southampton boss Nigel Adkins, Huddersfield Town manager Lee Clark and Exeter's Paul Tisdale for the accolade, which will be announced on Friday.

I agree ecco owl... BUT... Don't Give It To Him!!! Nothing against Gary... I also think it's well deserved. But Laws, Irvine, etc. Whenever our managers get awards, everything goes pear shaped! As Einstein once said "I'm too smart to be superstitious... but I am." Well... at least the last part is true of me *laugh*

I think it will go to Adkins or Clark, but well done Gary for getting nominated, thats an achievement on its own, can't remember last time we won 4 at home on the trot. Now lets win the last game, a few additions to the team, good pre-season and be ready go right from the start and shut these doubters up. U T O W T I D
