JJ expected to pen Owls deal
Jet-heeled winger Jermaine Johnson is expected to agree a new contract with Wednesday this summer, according to reports.
The Jamaican wing wizard was offered a new deal to stay at Hillsborough by boss Gary Megson, along with James O'Connor and Lewis Buxton, and skysports.com expects him to agree to new terms.
Johnson's contract expires this summer and he could leave the Owls on a free transfer is he saw his future away from the npower League One side.
The former Bolton Wanderers and Bradford City player has been a key figure in Wednesday's squad since his arrival in 2007 and Megson sees him as vital to the Owls' bid for promotion next term.
Other clubs are understood to have shown an interest in the Jamcaican international, but if reports are to be believed he'll be pulling on the blue and white stripes next season.
