Owls picked for cup TV coverage

Wednesday's Carling Cup first round clash against Blackpool at Hillsborough has been selected for live television coverage.

Sky Sports will screen the match on Thursday, August 11 (kick-off 7.45pm) with the match being one of the highlight matches of the opening round.

Ian Holloway's Blackpool side were relegated from the Premier League last season and will be hoping to improve fortunes on the pitch this term.

Tickets for the match will go on sale tomorrow, Wednesday, priced at £10 for adult season ticket holders and £5 for junior season ticket holders, with non season ticket holders paying £12 and £6.

The South Stand only will be open for Owls fans and season ticket holders in that stand have until Saturday, July 2 to claim their own seat.
