Swans in for Owls target Scotland

Wednesday target Jason Scotland has been linked with a sensational return to former club Swansea City.

The Owls confirmed their interest in taking the 32-year-old to Hillsborough this summer but they could lose out to Premier League opposition.

Scotland is expected to be surplus to requirements at Ipswich Town but Swans manager Brendan Rodgers believes the Trinidad and Tobago hitman can cut it in the top flight.

It will mean Owls boss Gary Megson will have to turn his attentions elsewhere in a bid to bolster his attacking options.

Does anyone know why the Mellor issue is still not sorted.Does it look like we are going to get him?or is it a dead deal. We better get a move on as we have one striker who winges all the time, and another who is waiting to find out if he will get a long free holiday from the queen.
