Beevers moves on loan to MK Dons

Beevers moves on loan to MK Dons

Defender Mark Beevers became the second Owls player to move away from Hillsborough on loan today after completing a move to League One rivals MK Dons.

The centre-back will play for the Dons, who also play in npower League One, until December 31 2011.

Beevers, who was subject to a bid from Barnsley in the summer, is down the pecking order at Hillsborough at the moment and the move will give him more first team action.

His appearances this season have been limited to Carling Cup and Johnstone's Paint Trophy competitions.

I doubt very much he will leave permanently, makes sense if he's down the pecking order at the moment and not guaranteed a starting spot to let him go and get some games elsewhere. He was only playing the cup games anyway although I agree I thought we was one of a few who impressed the other night!

Agree with carlton owl,we should be keeping Beevers and offloading Reda. He should be on the bench every week in my opinion. Hopefully he will come back and get some games.
