Madine makes FL Team of the Week

Wednesday striker Gary Madine has been included in the League One Team of the Week.

The former Carlisle United hitman scored twice and had a hand in the other as the Owls beat MK Dons 3-1 at Hillsborough at the weekend.

And he's been rewarded with recognition by the Football League after they included him in their weekly team for League One.

Madine was selected alongside former Owls loanee Neil Mellor, while another former Owl in Ritchie Humphreys was also included.

Full team: Lee (Brentford), Hunt (Huddersfield), Osborne (Brentford), Grounds (Chesterfield), Humphreys (Hartlepool), Mendy (Chesterfield), Liddle (Hartlepool), Nicholson (PNE), Roberts (Huddersfield), Madine (Wednesday), Mellor (PNE).
