Wednesday Sign Striker

Wednesday Sign Striker

Gary Megson has reacted to the drubbing at Stevenage by signing striker David McGoldrick on a one month emergency loan deal from Nottingham Forest.

Having taken squad number 32, the £1million striker will go straight into to the match day squad against Yeovil. The 23 year old has struggled to get in the starting line up at Forest this season, having scored 9 goals in 35 starts previously, but will he should give a new option to Megson.

Quality writing. Probably the best article I've ever read on here.

It's strange that despite the awful away form, a midfield that starts to dissapear again, the midweek hammering, injury woes and inherited squad players that Ginger Mourinio does not want, I feel strategly calm and optimisitic about our future. (and no, I am not on drugs!) I think this is because I have confidence that Manderin will continuously support us - just like this loan signing.

A bit of pace in the team ... although not a great goalscoring record il be interested to see whether megson uses him as a striker or out wide, especially with the injury to jj

Not a bad player at all. I have confidence in Megson, he'll get this sorted.
