Trio back to give Megson derby dilemma

Gary Megson will have a welcome selection headache for this weekend's Steel City derby with the return to availability of three first team players.

Reda Johnson and Liam Palmer will both be available after missing last weekend's win over Chesterfield with being away on international duty with Benin and Scotland U21s respectively.

Midfielder David Prutton will also return to training this week just in time for the first Sheffield derby clash of the campaign at Bramall Lane on Sunday.

Former Leeds United and Nottingham Forest man Prutton has missed the Owls' last three games through a thigh injury after being an ever-present in the league up until his training injury.

But with Wednesday winning all three matches since his injury, with Chris Lines coming into the centre of midfield, Prutton may be lucky to regain his starting role in S2.

I'd put Reda back in at left back and put the other 2 on the bench. Get back to our unbeaten defence!

Went to our local betting shop this afternoon and got 40/1 on Wednesday to win 2-1 with Madine to score first.

I'd put Reda back in the defense to which I wouldn't have said last season or the start of this but I like the freedom that he gives Buxton plus I think he'll get better and better given a run of confidence. I think Prutton and Palmer on the bench to start is a good call... 40-1 isn't a bad punt but I really hope (not do you out a pocket Hereford) that we don't let them score at home that will proper mess with their heads... I know it's the Derby and I would love it if we stuff them but a point is the minimum requirement just like it was away to Charlton... UTO
