Sheffield Wednesday vs United Preview

Sheffield Wednesday vs United Preview

It`s Derby Day. That deserves capitals. Forget el classic, the manc - Mersey borefest. Keep your old firm. This is the derby that counts.

ne thing we can all agree on is it comes too low down the leagues, but that`s where the niceties end. Wednesday will travel across the city above United in the table. Danny Wilson`s men aren`t even in the playoffs, and with 2 of their players in the middle of a court trial, United are in disarray.

They do have 2 new recruits in striker Billy Clark and winger Matt Phillips, both on loan. They`ll need them.

Wednesday will arrive on the back of 4 straight wins and a manager that revels in these kind of games; fiery, tough in the tackle and not a moment to think.

That coupled with goal machine Gary Madine, the newly crowned League One young player of the month, and Wednesday must go into the game as favourites.

Let`s get behind the boys tomorrow and help give Megson his first derby day win in his first derby day as manager. Predictions? Get commenting below.

We at Vital Wednesday are going with 2-1 Wednesday.
