Owls fans set for 'Home Away Day'

Wednesday fans are being reminded that they must buy their tickets in advance if they want to be part of the 'Home Away Day' against Leyton Orient this Saturday.

The club has opened up the upper tier of the West Stand for Owls fans for the clash with the O's, where away fans usually congregate, in a bid to recreate the atmosphere of an away game for this weekend's home clash.

The idea was first used last season with great success when Wednesday hosted Yeovil Town.

But fans wanting to get a rare seat in the West Stand upper tier, and be part of the event, need to purchase their tickets in advance. While tickets will be on sale at the turnstile for all other parts of the ground, they won't be for the West Stand upper tier.

Tickets are priced at £22 for adults and £13 concessions in that part of the ground and can be bought in person at the Megastore, by telephone on 0871 900 1967 or online at www.swfc.co.uk/tickets.

Okay, so try and bear with me on this one folks and consider it as an 'ugent appeal' (without a great deal of urgency). I first logged on this site back in July and since then I've really enjoyed reading your comments, sharing your opinions and views etc. All of you, it's been great. I've got into the habit now of 'tuning in' at various times throughout the day and find it a shade disappointing if there are no fresh comments to click onto. So, I checked out the forum 'upstairs' and found a bunch of Wednesdayites bemoaning the fact that 'their' forum is stagnating for the want of 'new blood'. I've spent the last two or three weeks checking it out and you know what? They're right! They need you lot: Radon & Shinpads & Carbone's Padawan. ecco & owler. sussex & Devon. Seattle & Colorado. All of you too numerous to list here by name. I've appreciated your comments so why not share them around a bit. Hell, even M_O! You might find there's somebody up there who agrees with you... No, seriously though, you may have your own reasons for ignoring this request but 'they' need fresh input and I see a quality supply right here on their doorstep. So why not give it a go, huh?
