Owls set to loan Bostock from Spurs

Wednesday are set to announce the signing of Tottenham Hotspur midfielder John Bostock on loan, according to reports.

Owls boss Gary Megson has been frantically searching for a creative spark in midfield following the departure of winger Ben Marshall back to Stoke City.

Megson has been frustrated in his search for a midfield maestro so far in the January transfer window with bids for at least five players knocked back.

And Bostock could be the man to add that Spark with reports from journalists in the Midlands and BBC Radio Sheffield revealing the former Crystal Palace man is set to move to Hillsborough.

The 20-year-old England youth international is down the pecking order at White Hart Lane and a move to League One would give the midfielder more first-team opportunities.

He's had loan stints at Hull City and Brentford during his time at Spurs and could see the move to S6 as a chance to revitalise his career.

Meanwhile, reports have again linked Wednesday with a move for Jason Koumas.

Bostock has massive talent, but he just needs a good opportunity pula perhaps a realisation that he needs to up his application instead of relying on talent alone

He's had good opportunities and wasted them... he's 20yrs old now, this is the time to deliver! Hope he does well for you lot and comes back a 'footballer'!

Well he'll have plenty of oppurtunity with us and hopefully he can have the sort of impact that Ben 10 had. If he has the right attitude and is ready to show his worth to his parent club then it could be a very exciting time ahead for everyone. Lets get it all sorted quickly and he can join us with the other new additions I'm hopeful we will land in the next day or so to help us to push on, reclaim an automatic spot and keep hold of it this time. I can't believe Koumas is being mentioned again... I hope that this time the talk becomes a reality as we'd all like to see him pull on a Wednesday shirt and show the class we all know he has. Got certain fans of another club that shall remain nameless taunting me today at work in regards to what are Wednesday going to do when Milan is found guilty. I'm still not 100% sure what he can be found guilty of, he just paid 'arry some money??! Harry's really only guilty of forgetting to live in Monaco for at least 6 months in the year where the money was hidden... I mean transferred lol. My response was of course suitably restrained I just said "all you have to have a dig about is how our chairman throws his cash around, while your chairman hasn't a pot to **** in!!" I so hope we win the six pointer coming up against them, that'll shut 'em up good and proper especially if they miss out on the top six by a point!! (I can dream!) We'll look after JJB for you Harry.... (He's got to be good there's a sports store and a stadium named after him!!) Cheers :o) UTO IMMIT
