Bostock completes Owls loan move

Bostock completes Owls loan move

Wednesday have completed a loan deal for Tottenham Hotspur's young midfielder John Bostock.

As reported on Vital Wednesday last night, the former Crystal Palace man has penned a deal at Hillsborough until the end of the season from the Premier League club.

He'll be eligible to go straight into the Owls' squad for tomorrow night's trip to MK Dons in npower League One.

Gary Megson has been searching for a creative spark in midfielder since the departure of Ben Marshall back to Stoke City and Bostock seemingly fits the bill.

He's down the pecking order at White Hart Lane and the move is one that will suit all parties.

He is an attacking midfielder whos best position is through the middle - got bags of ability and skill but needs to apply himself if he wants to step up - could be a great player for you.

Leicester have agreed terms with Stoke over Ben10 and are set to open talks with him. Looks like he's a write-off now. Bostock is a potential master stroke - has anyone heard much else on the Koumas rumour?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xXCCIkJsnKI&feature=share One of these a game please JJB??! I'm guessing that he is seen as left midfielder that likes to attack we'll be playing him wide with license to drift which is how we played Ben... It's the JJB Era now let's hope he can make a similar impact!! Haven't heard anything about Koumas "Padawan" but the force is strong fingers-crossed he comes and pulls on a Wednesday shirt... this could be third time lucky WAWAW

Great signing. Sounds like we got priced out of Ben Marshall at 750,000. Leicester city have more money than us. However lets just think how Leicester city have more money than us, that's right Milan Mandaric was there chairman. I love being an owl with a sensible board. Shame about ben10 but the club moves on as this signing proves. Apologies if I am a stuck record banging on about trusting in MM and GM but seriously how much better are things now. Remember the last 3 seasons when we used to be talking all the time about who would be taking over, those bloody club 9 investment wan*ers and we almost had Ken Bates at one point. So I will end by wishing MM all the best in court and hope he carries on the good work at Wednesday!

though Bostock can play wide (mainly left) he can also play in the middle or off of a main striker. he has bags of technical ability and has a great eye for goal, but perhaps like so many other talented youngsters needs to improve his team play and decision making, both of which I feel will come with games and experience. if he is given the opportunity to play and gets his head down, I think he will do very well for you
