Halsey to take charge of derby clash

Mark Halsey will be the man in charge of Sunday's big derby clash between Wednesday and United at Hillsborough.

The match needs a strong man in the middle and Halsey comes with a history of refereeing in the top games in the Premier League, as well as League Cup finals.

Fireworks are expected on the pitch, as they are in every Steel City clash.

He'll be assisted by Glenn Turner and Andy Halliday and Carl Boyeson will be the fourth official.

For the 1st time this season we are actually going to have a decent ref in charge instead of the hobbits that we usually get, I actually fancy us to beat the pigs 3-1 Lowe, O'Grady & Reda for us and the rapist for them. I have a feeling all the players will be up for this be it GM being Wednesday through and through or the player getting all the positive energy from what will no doubt be a phenominal atmosphere that only a packed Hillsborough can provide.(I have butterflies just thinking of it.) This city is ours, This city is ours F*** off united this city is ours.

Hopefully he should do better than the usual clowns that we get at Hillsborough.
