Wednesday target Hammers' Baldock

Wednesday target Hammers' Baldock

Wednesday could turn their attentions to trying to sign West Ham striker Sam Baldock after missing out on a loan deal for Fulham's Marcelo Trotta.

Trotta was Owls boss Gary Megson's number one target to bolster his attacking options but he's opted to move to Watford on-loan today.

The failed swoop means Megson has turned his attentions to Baldock, according to reports, and he could bring him in on-loan before Sunday's Sheffield derby.

Baldock has featured for the Hammers this season but he's down the pecking order at Upton Park.

Just watched Baldocks entry for the last 20 minutes as a sub for West Ham and I can honestly say we can forget about signing him there is no chance he will be coming to us on loan he was the most dangerous player West Ham had today even though it was a late entry as a sub The Hammers would be crazy on this showing to farm him out.
