Owls fans snap-up Huddersfield tickets

Tickets for Wednesday's trip to face Huddersfield Town at the Galpharm Stadium next month have sold out within just a day of going on sale.

The Owls were sent 3,900 for the match, which takes place on Saturday, April 7 in West Yorkshire, and the entire allocation was quickly snapped-up.

Wednesday aren't expecting any more tickets to be sent from Huddersfield.

The match is set to be arguably Wednesday's biggest between now and the end of the season as they eye promotion to the Championship.

The reverse clash at Hillsborough in December was a 4-4 thriller, with Jordan Rhodes scoring all four Town goals - the last a leveller deep into added time.
