Owls loan Morrison to Brentford

Wednesday have allowed striker Clinton Morrison to join League One rivals Brentford on-loan until the end of the season.

Morrison has been down the pecking order at Hillsborough for the majority of the season and the news comes hot-on-the-heels of Nile Ranger's arrival at Hillsborough today.

The 32-year-old had a loan spell at MK Dons earlier in the season and has been used only as back-up at S6 this term.

The former Coventry City and Crystal Palace hitman is eligible for the Bees' league game against Rochdale at home this weekend and he's expected to go straight into the squad.

So long, Clint! Can't say I'm sorry to see you go. I reckon your best position this season has been Milton Keynes so get back there and score a hat trick for Brentford.
