Get well soon, Tricky Trev

Former Wednesday player and manager Trevor Francis is in hospital recovering from a suspected heart attack.

The 57-year-old was admitted to Birmingham Heartlands Hospital yesterday and all at Vital Wednesday join the rest of the 'football family' by wishing 'Tricky Trev' all the best in his recovery.

A statement from the Owls, via Twitter, read: 'All at Sheffield Wednesday would like to wish former player and manager Trevor Francis a speedy recovery.'

Francis played at Hillsborough between 1990-94 before going on to manage the club between 1991-95.

He became the first £1 million player in England when he joined Nottingham Forest from Birmingham City and also went on to play for clubs including Manchester City, Sampdoria, Rangers and Queens Park Rangers before finishing his playing career as an Owl.
