Owls set for European pre-season

Wednesday are set to spend part of their forthcoming pre-season programme in Europe.

The Owls are currently drawing up their summer plans, but plenty depends on what division Dave Jones and his men will be plying their trade in next season and whether Wednesday will be involved in the play-offs.

The likely destination is Germany or Portugal, according to today's Sheffield Star.

Wednesday have travelled to Austria during their previous two close season campaigns but Jones is seemingly keen on travelling elsewhere and wants to get the arrangements sorted out sooner rather than later.

Owls supporters will also be keen to find out the summer destination - Wednesday are usually well backed by fans during pre-season trips and this summer is expected to be no different.
