Owls-Wycombe clash nearing a sell-out

Owls-Wycombe clash nearing a sell-out

Wednesday's final game of the season against Wycombe Wanderers at Hillsborough is nearing a sell-out.

The North Stand has already sold out for the clash, which takes place on Saturday, May 5, and tickets are selling fast for the South Stand and Kop.

Only a limited number of seats are remaining for the home areas and the club is advising supporters to buy their tickets soon to avoid the disappointment of missing out.

The game could prove crucial in the League One promotion race. Wednesday trail Sheffield United by just a point heading into the last two matches of the season - United are at home to Stevenage this weekend while Wednesday visit Brentford.

Should the game sell-out it'll be the second time Hillsborough has been packed to the rafters this season. A crowd of 36,364 - the biggest in League One this season - saw Wednesday beat United 1-0. It'll also mean the Owls top the average attendances for the division by a distance.
