Sold out! Owls fans pack Hillsborough

Saturday's massive final game of the season against Wycombe Wanderers has sold out.

Owls fans queued overnight and in wet weather for the extra 6,000 tickets that went on sale at 9am this morning and those tickets have quickly been snapped-up.

It means over 37,000 Owls supporters will be cheering their side on as Dave Jones and his men look to seal the second automatic promotion spot from League One.

Wednesday just need to equal Sheffield United's result down at Exeter City to be promoted in second place.

A statement from Wednesday read: 'The club would like to issue a huge vote of thanks to all Wednesdayites for their magnificent support.'
