Wednesday confirm Civic celebrations

The Owls' promotion party will continue in Sheffield city centre this Wednesday with a Civic Reception.

Sheffield City Council have invited the club to celebrate its promotion to the Championship at the Town Hall, and thousands of Wednesdayites are expected to be in attendance to join in alongside the playing squad, manage and chairman.

The event is scheduled to take place between 6pm and 7pm and more details will be announced in due course.

The squad is set to be welcomed into the Town Hall and will then take to the balcony to celebrate with the gathered supporters.
