Owls set to announce retained list

Wednesday have confirmed they will release their list of retained players for next season tomorrow.

Manager Dave Jones has been busy deciding which players to keep at the club next term, including which out-of-contract players to offer new deals this summer.

Players such as Clinton Morrison, Stephen Bywater and Jermaine Johnson are all out-of-contract at Hillsborough this summer and a large number are expected to be released as Jones builds his squad for a higher level of football following promotion to the Championship.

Striker Morrison has already hinted via his Twitter account that he'll be leaving the club for pastures new, as has goalkeeper Richard O'Donnell, who's had a lack of first-team opportunities at the club.

Others such as Mike Jones, Daniel Jones and Chris O'Grady could all be put on the transfer list after failing to feature much since Jones took over from Gary Megson.

All will be revealed tomorrow, make sure you visit Vital Wednesday for all the latest news.
