Lowe completes MK Dons transfer

Striker Ryan Lowe has left Hillsborough to sign for League One side MK Dons.

The former Bury hitman has signed for an undisclosed fee after seemingly falling down the pecking order at Wednesday under boss Dave Jones.

Lowe signed for the Owls last season from Gigg Lane and went on to make 31 appearances, notching nine goals along the way, although he never cemented a starting role.

Sorry to see him go but it's hardly surprising really. GM always preferred Madine/ CO'G up front and DJ Madine/ Ranger. Lowe's attitude seemed 1st Class from the outset but he'd have been given far fewer chances to impress in the Championship. Pity we didn't snap him up five years earlier. Good luck, Ryan.

Sorry lads i said when we signed him looked too bulky and slow not the type of player we needed and i think i was proved right always a yard or two off the pace! i think too old for what we needed yes he had got goals in the past but not at a club like ours. but good luck Ryan!
