Owls draw MK Dons in FA Cup

Owls draw MK Dons in FA Cup

Wednesday will host League One club MK Dons in the third round of the FA Cup.

The draw took place today and has at least given the Owls home advantage against Karl Robinson's men in the third round.

The Milton Keynes club beat AFC Wimbledon in a controversial second round match today and will make the trip up to South Yorkshire as their reward, with the game expected to be played on Saturday, January 5.

Premier League and Championship clubs enter the third round and the pick of the matches will be Manchester United's visit to West Ham United and Arsenal's tricky trip to Swansea City.

I normally get excited when the Cup comes round, but this time I'd feel a lot happier if we were playing well and picking up points in the league. Saying that, I hope we don't field a weakened side and bow out of the competition with a whimper. Ryan Lowe is destined to score anyway, but let's put up a fight for chrissakes!

I feel like we are on a hiding to nothing with this one - either we win ( as we are expected too as they are lower league than us ) and nothing is said, or they beat us and the whole situation is blown all out of proportion. As you say Maurice Lowe is destined to score and it wouldn't surprise me if Otsemabor scores and breaks Antonio's leg while he's at it - that's about what we have come to expect
