'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Merry Christmas from Vital Wednesday!

Vital Wednesday would like to wish all of our readers a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

The Owls have certainly sent us on a roller coaster ride this season, with a dramatic end to the 2011-12 campaign seeing Dave Jones's unbeaten side pip old foes Sheffield United to promotion to the Championship.

The start to this season set off in similar fashion, but the Owls have since struggled at the wrong end of the table. Fortunately, six points from the last two matches have given Wednesdayites some early festive cheer, and hopefully that will continue in our final two matches of the season, at Bolton and Huddersfield respectively.

Have a good one, Wednesdayites!
