Owls sign Swansea striker Lita on loan

Wednesday have completed the signing of Swansea City striker Leroy Lita on loan until the end of the season.

Owls boss Dave Jones has been desperate to bolster his squad, especially in the attacking department, in the January transfer window and has got his man in the former Reading and Bristol City front man.

Lita, 28, spent part of this season on-loan with Birmingham City, where he scored three goals in ten appearances for the Blues. He is deemed surplus to requirements by the Premier League Swans.

The striker's arrival could be one of two new forward options brought in by Jones this month.

This can't be right, Lita won't be 33 for another five years!

Is he gonna play upfront with one of the big guys I wonder we must play to his strengths otherwise he may as well keep Rhodri & Pecnik company potentially a season saving signing I wonder if theres any chance of signing Guy Whittingham
