Bolton recall Owls loan man Holden

Bolton Wanderers have recalled midfielder Stuart Holden from his loan spell at Wednesday.

The 27-year-old was in attendance at Hillsborough for yesterday's 1-1 draw against Ipswich Town but Bolton asked the Owls not to play him in the match.

Wanderers currently occupy a Championship play-off spot and want Holden fit and ready for action if called upon.

"Bolton are in a play-off spot, they have one or two injuries, and they want him back,' Owls boss Dave Jones told the official SWFC website.

"He`s got better and stronger as his loan has gone on and I would like to thank him for his services and wish him the very best for the future."

The American featured four times for Wednesday, playing in two victories, one draw and one defeat.

Owls fans how does Holden look to you? We now have a shortage in midfield so is he ready to play or just fit for the bench?

Ok, nothing special, maybe next year when he has had a full pre season under his belt he will be a tidy little player in the champ, good luck for playoffs push.

I can't say for myself, but Dave Jones was really pleased with his contribution and he get's paid to know who is a good footballer.
