what a shame, one of the least inspiring fixture lists I've seen in ages. away on the first day, away on boxing day, away on the last day all to nothing teams. i hope we get promoted soon!

Wow Hirsty hope your right matey. As soon as i saw it the old butterflies started in the stomach and the more I look at it the tougher it looks. I know more than ever now that 4 or 5 quality signings is required the season starts here UTO

i'm not saying it is easy just that we haven't landed any big teams for the traditional holiday fixtures

Wednesday morning - QPR's opening fixture: Sheff Wed (h). Thursday morning - QPR announce Bothroyd released with 12months remaining on his contract. Coincidence? Hard to imagine how much he's been 'earning' down there but if he expects another club to offer more of the same then I'd say his 'career' is probably over. But wait, the southern press have him linked with a move to Turkey which is too poetic to ignore. They'll probably get him over there, fatten him up a bit and then feed him to their crowd at Christmas.
