Bywater leaves Owls for Millwall

Goalkeeper Stephen Bywater has left Hillsborough to join Championship rivals Millwall.

Bywater was out of contract with the Owls and has opted for a move to London rather than pen a new deal at S6.

He was back-up to Chris Kirkland last season and is likely to be back-up at the New Den with David Forde excelling in goal for the Lions.

Millwall have handed the shot-stopped a two-year deal.

Good luck to the lad, does this mean that young one Dawson will be number 2?

Good Luck mate thanks for your service. Nice to know it wasn't undisclosed. Mind you they'd would have a job keeping this one a secret. ----------------------- Mind you the lastest Ive heard on the transfer front is - an unnamed club has made a bid for an unnamed player according to unnamed sources at the club.

Biggest regret? Bywater wasn't between the sticks when that daft prat from L**ds decided it was a good night to make a name for himself. Anyway, good luck Stephen... ya loony!

totally agree for once ourmaurice! Bywater would most likely have flattened him before he had chance to raise his hands. Good luck would have preferred him to be staying
