Owls' clash with Town live on Sky

Wednesday's home clash against Huddersfield Town has been moved for live Sky television coverage.

The match will still be played on Saturday, November 23, but has been moved from a 3pm kick-off to 12.15pm for live television coverage.

It's the second Yorkshire derby moved for television for the Owls, with the trip to Elland Road to face Leeds United in August also switched.

It's the home match (not that 23rd November is going to sneak up on anyone!) but this weekend's behind-closed-doors game vs. Steaua Bucharest will also be streamed live apparently. Not sure how reliable coverage will be but they're posting links on Owlstalk if anyone's interested.

It's a risk, I know lol. On the subject of these live streams - I 'tuned in' to one last summer when we played Sporting down in Portugal and it was rubbish! I know my equipment is getting on a bit but the 'coverage' was like watching freeze-frame, about 20-30 blurry stills a minute until it packed up all together midway through the 2nd half! I had more luck watching the Oldham away game in the cup but ended up having to clear a log jam of adverts for various dating agencies, casinos and what have you. I didn't bother again! But it's summer so what the hey, I'll probably give it a go Saturday teatime (without building my hopes up) :0)

Okay, so it finished 1-1. A nice friendly ol' park kickabout in the sunshine (Llera equalizing with a back post header 2nd half). The coverage was better than I'd imagined even though the stream seemed to morph at the start of the 2nd half and instead of football I got the Romanian version of 'Wheeltappers & Shunters' starring Harry Enfield as Colin Cromptonescu. Still, better than weeding the garden!
