JJ pens new Wednesday contract
Wednesday wing wizard Jermaine Johnson has signed a new contract that will keep him with the Owls until at least the end of next season.
The Jamaican was out-of-contract at Hillsborough this summer but has penned his new deal after returning from international duty in World Cup qualifying matches.
Johnson is 33 but his performances last season, especially towards the end of the campaign, helped play a part in keeping Wednesday in the Championship.
He made 45 appearances last term, scoring seven goals along the way, and has made 224 appearances for the Owls in total since making the switch to South Yorkshire from Bradford City.
