Chopra opts for Blackpool move
Striker Michael Chopra has ended speculation over his immediate future by signing for Championship side Blackpool.
Chopa was understood to be a target of Owls boss Dave Jones, who worked with the player during his time at Cardiff City.
But the 29-year-old has opted for a move to the seaside with Blackpool, leaving behind a difficult spell at Ipswich Town.
He has signed a one-year deal with the option of another year if it suits all parties.
Wednesday have signed Austrian striker Atdhe Nuhiu today and are also reportedly interested in bringing back Leroy Lita, who enjoyed a loan spell at S6 last season, on a permanent deal from Swansea City.
