Protest - Yay Or Nay?

This week's poll on Vital Sheffield Wednesday is asking fans whether it's the right time to stage a protest at Hillsborough against the current board - so have YOUR say NOW!

A growing section of Wednesday fans have been venting their anger over the current SWFC board in recent weeks - with many hoping a deal can be done with boxing promoter Dennis Hobson - but is it the right time to stage a protest in the Owls current state on the field?

The former Owls Trust have already organised one such protest around the time of former Cheslea and now-Leeds United chairman Ken Bates' interest in taking over the club over two years ago.

But the 'red card' protest at Hillsborough resulted in a mixed reaction from Owls fans, with some even exchanging views on the matter at Wednesday matches. Would a protest this time around prove to be any different?

Whether you feel it's the right time or not, or if there's any need for a protest at all - then let your views be known. You can vote in the poll, or have your say in more detail on the official Vital Sheffield Wednesday forums!

I think you guys should to be honest !, it seems you are in such a straight jacket at the moment financially you need a breath of fresh air into the club as a whole !

Why have this debate ? All the socialists in Sheffield will be against it, as they have a problem with anybody who has money. This club needs investment, I don't care who it is, just get some money in now

We are in debt and their is someone who is willing to put some much needed cash into the club, why not let the guy have a chance!

What as politics got too do with whether some person wants to put money into our club? I`am socialist and I defantly want some one to put money in! P.S. Haxeyowl I have no got a problem with people with money! leve politics out of it we are all Wednesdayites!

Six years under Allen's reign, our league position has not improved, yet our debt has nearly doubled. Of course it's time for a protest.

I would like to leave Politics out of it NIGHTOWL, but the plain and simple facts are that clubs in the South Yorkshire area struggle for investment, as they are all ones where loads have people have little shares here and there, and the mentality of the South Yorks people it the brothers together, one out all way, and they do not like one person coming in and dictating, unfortunately money talks in footy now, and if we continue to rebel when people like Ken Bates come in, then there is no future for SWFC, other than slipping further down the leagues
