Chelsea see off young Owls in FA Cup

Wednesday's young guns put up a brave fight against the might of Chelsea in the FA Youth Cup on Wednesday night before eventually going down 4-1.

The Londoners, playing the match at Aldershot FC, went into a comfortable 2-0 half-time lead thanks to goals from Izzy Brown and Charly Musonda to leave Wednesday with it all to do.

Charlie Collket all-but sealed the hosts' progression with their third goal in the second half but Jack Stobbs continued to make a name for himself with what turned out to be a consolation goal for the visitors.

Dominic Solanke completed the scoring with a fourth for Chelsea but Wednesday will be hoping they can learn and develop from the experience.
