Owls have competition for Hull striker
Wednesday will come up against some stern competition if they are to bring former loan star Matty Fryatt back to Hillsborough on a permanent basis next season.
Owls boss Stuart Gray is a keen admirer of the Premier League forward and would be interested in signing him next season if he decides against signing a new deal with the Tigers.
But Sky Sports are reporting that a number of other clubs are interested in the front man, including next season's Championship new boys Wolverhampton Wanderers and next season's Premier League side Burnley.
The 28-year-old scored four goals in seven starts for the Owls during his loan stint earlier this term and forged a good partnership with Connor Wickham.
His opportunities with Hull have been few and far between but City boss Steve Bruce is eager to keep competition in the forward line strong and sees Fryatt as part of his plans.
