To my eyes, that looks like a squad of players capable of holding their own in this division. With a decent run of luck. Especially regarding injuries, suspensions and the likes. But in order to mount a serious challenge I reckon we're short of maybe four quality additions in key areas. That's four players able to make the step up should we achieve promotion. We can't expect Stu to discover them hiding under a rock, they're likely to command transfer fees and competitive wages for a start and to 'get them through the door' will require ambition, something MM clearly lacks.

...and now that we can confirm once and for all that 80% of us believe Gary Madine should be given another chance, isn't it time the Current Site Poll was updated? I'd suggest another prediction thingy for the season coming, like I dunno - Top6, 7th-12th, 13th-18th, Bottom6? Only launch it before our sure-to-be-glorious performance down at Brighton.

As Doncaster Rovers have the Guy out of One Direction as a novelty squad player can't we have one of the Arctic Monkeys on ours. Obviously it was risky last year because jones would probably have stuck him up front before playing COG or MgQuire or indeed any strikers he bought himself!
